At Coach Steve Camps we aim to provide community-based hockey camps at affordable prices. We also provide leadership and employment opportunities for our participants who are invited to return in the future as camp leaders.

Steve grew up playing minor hockey in the Assiniboine Park Hockey Association beginning at the community club level and progressing to AA, AAA, and High School Hockey. He then played 4 seasons in MMJHL with the Charleswood Hawks being named both an Assistant Captain and Captain as well as being named to the MMJHL All Star Game 3 times. He was part of the Hawks championship winning team in the 1996-97 season.
Since his playing career, Steve has coached primarily within the Macdonald Minor Hockey Association at levels including U7 house league all the way up to the U13 Gold level. Steve has also coached within the PHD Predators spring hockey program and was recently selected as the Head Coach for the Central Plains Rising Stars Plus program. In addition to coaching, Steve also volunteers on the Macdonald Minor Hockey Association board as the Director of Player and Coach Development and the Oak Bluff Recreation Board as the Ice Convenor.
Steve’s passion for hockey, community, and the developing of young athletes is what powers Coach Steve Camps and creates a fun and successful environment for all.
